ReadyFlex® Flexible Shafts with Casing are ideal for applications where added protection, safety, and durability are essential. Casing is typically recommended for shaft lengths over 8 inches, or when operating in harsh environments such as dusty, dirty, or corrosive conditions, or at high speeds where the rotating shaft may be exposed.
The protective casing helps retain grease within the assembly, keeps contaminants out, and prevents accidental contact with moving components. Each assembly is available with Ball Bearing or Oilite Bearing couplings. Ball Bearings are preferred for high-speed, high-load applications, while Oilite Bearings are ideal for lower-speed, lighter-load, and control-driven systems.
Both bearing options are offered in ten standard diameters to meet a wide range of torque and performance requirements: .130, .150, .187, .250, .312, .375, .500, .625, .750, and 1.000 inches.
They come with either Ball Bearing or Oilite Bearing couplings. Ball Bearings are typically used for higher speeds and greater loads. Oilite Bearings are used for slower speeds, control applications, and lighter loads. Both Oilite and Ball Bearings Assemblies are available in ten (10) different diameter sizes: .130, .150, .187, .250, .312, .375, .500, .625, .750, and 1.000.
Our ReadyFlex® Flexible Shafts include both unidirectional and bidirectional options, enabling power transmission in a
single direction or in both directions between shafts, depending on application needs.
